Purpose: To equip and empower a coordinated network for Climate Justice advocacy and action across the country.

Through your donation, the United Church of Christ will raise awareness, funding, and hope for Climate Justice. Together, we can advance one of the most important causes for justice in our time.

In 2024, the UCC will continue its successful Climate Hope Summer: a environmental climate justice fellowship program for youth and young adult leaders. Participants will engage in projects with UCC churches or UCC-affiliated organizations that deepen their knowledge about environmental climate justice. They will also receive mentoring and serve their communities in unique ways. Ultimately, the fellowship program prepares these youth leaders to advance environmental climate justice work!

Your gift will also support UCC’s 2024 Earth Day Summit, which will engage dynamic speakers on environmental climate justice topics, highlight successful projects, and inform attendees about effective action and advocacy. 

UCC’s Environmental Justice Ministries is deeply engaged in answering our first calling as people of faith: caring for God’s creation. Our movements ministries address the climate crisis, environmental racism, and a host of issues affecting our planet. Your generous donation to Giving Tuesday will move us further to success.
